Forensic Psychology: Comprehensive Evaluations and Expert Consultation
Dr. Brooke Foris
Dr. Foris is a Licensed Psychologist who graduated from Nova Southeastern University in 2009. She completed her internship and post-doctoral residency in Broward County, primarily focusing on the assessment and treatment of sexual abuse victims and juveniles exhibiting sexual behavior problems. In 2016, Dr. Foris relocated to Southwest Florida to pursue an employment opportunity with Comprehensive MedPsych Systems (CMPS), but resigned in July 2022 to concentrate on building her private practice.
Currently, Dr. Foris is contracted with the Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) to conduct psychosexual evaluations and provide outpatient sexual offense specific treatment to youth within the 20th Judicial Circuit. She is also engaged with Partnership for Strong Families and the Children's Network of Southwest Florida, where she conducts comprehensive evaluations for juveniles and adults involved with the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF). Dr. Foris has extensive experience in conducting forensic evaluations for both adults and juveniles in criminal, civil, and family law cases, and has been qualified as an expert witness in the 20th Judicial Circuit.
Dr. Foris is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA) and the Association for the Treatment & Prevention of Sexual Abuse (ATSA). Additionally, she serves as the Board Secretary for the Florida Association for the Treatment & Prevention of Sexual Abuse (FATSA), collaborating closely with State agencies to enhance community safety.
